We had a great stay! Booked within 2 hours of check in due to a flight cancellation- and the place was still clean and ready for us at 3! Cute spot :)

The Historic Inn is a wonderful little oasis! We will definitely be back! Positive: Very peaceful and quiet! Extremely clean and so comfortable! Beautiful gardens Signs for rooms and lighting (we arrived late) were very helpful. Easy access to get in. Incredible staff! Negative: Nothing

nice, clean room. other reviews mention breakfast but that seems to have been discontinued. small trek from restaurants & stores. but overall a nice room to crash in.

Fantastisch, sehr schönes Zimmer, gute Lage und ruhige Umgebung! Positive: Für uns war die Lage perfekt, haben mit dem Auto die Insel erkundet, dafür war die Lage zentral. PP war dabei. Essens- und Einkaufmöglichkeiten waren in der Nähe. Sehr schönes Zimmer! Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht, können es daher nicht beurteilen. Unser Zimmer war im ersten Stock mit einer Veranda, das war super um Morgens draussen ein Kaffee zu trinken oder abends noch ein Bier geniessen. Negative: Es war etwas seltsam das wir nie persönlichen Kontakt mir irgend einem Mitararbeiter der Unterkunft hatten. Alles läuft online. Jedoch waren wir via whatsapp/email immer bestens informiert wie es läuft z.b. ins Zimmer kommen. Hätten auch eine Telnr. gehabt wo wir jederzeit anrufen konnten wenn es ein Problem gibt, jedoch nie gebraucht. Es wurde auch mehrfach via message nachgefragt ob alles passt. Habe das zum ersten mal so erlebt aber alles gut, hat alles hervorragend geklappt!

Exceeded expectations. This is a beautiful property, classy and updated, peaceful and quiet. Our room was beautiful, linens and toiletries were high end. Everything we needed was provided. The breakfast was outstanding. I will stay again and highly recommend to others. Well done !

It was great. Clean and well decorated room. Great bathroom. Close to good restaurants. The only this we didn’t like was breakfast didn’t start until 8:00. We were up and gone before that. Would stay here again.

Positive: Location is perfect to explore the town, cute authentic Maui town. Nearby to the museum - def check it out! Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was great as mentioned. Beautiful grounds and great aesthetic. Loved it! Negative: The check in and out time are pretty strict but understandable

Great stay, Recommended

Positive: The property/rooms are very cute and the check-in and check-out is very easy, room was also very comfortable. Negative: The price point is a little high for what is offered at the inn and the location. Parking is very small, the inn is in a residential neighborhood so there is a lot of sound from that.

The property and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. Great finishes and furnishings throughout. Location is great, too. The lack of on-site staff was confusing when we arrived, since the property has multiple buildings and it took a few minutes to figure out how to get to our room. Also, we wish we could have had access to laundry or a laundry service. Overall, we strongly recommend this beautiful, historic place to stay!

Such a lovely stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The host was super responsive and made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

Quiet luxury Parking and check in was easy and just as described. The interior was simple, yet felt upscale. Lovely original art on the walls, comforts bed, and bathroom and shower were wonderful. Would stay here again.

Great location close to the airport. The parking situation is tricky and tight but overall it was a good place for an overnight stay.

The stay was wonderful. Easy check in instructions and the room looked same exactly like pictures. The breakfast is an added plus. It was just difficult for us to find where our room was as that was not fully clear but someone staying at the place helped us out.

I had a late check-in, after 7pm, which is not their normal. They were very responsive and got me situated quickly.

Really lovely and relaxing property. Lovely breakfasts each morning was a plus. Decor was on point and I felt like I was at a resort. There’s no staff around in the evening, so it’s still very much an Airbnb. Awesome spot, especially if you have wheels to drive north or south to the beaches. Much quieter vibe than Kihei.

Great stay! I was here to visit family for a couple days, and the location was perfect, private, and quiet. Lots of great breakfast places nearby, and away from all the touristy hotels and busy areas. Perfect place to enjoy the north side of Maui.

Lovely room & property The room was just as pictured and described. Very nice for the 2 of us. The property and gardens were beautifully landscaped and quiet in Ulu suite. Easy walk into Wailuku for food and coffee and sight seeing. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Mix of Old Hawaii and New The Historic Wailuku Inn is beautiful. Rooms were amazing and location was perfect for exploring the whole island. Waihee Ridge Hike and Iao valley are super close, Paia / Haleakala / Kula / Kihei / Maalaea / are all less the 35-minute drive. Ramu and his team were great and made us feel super welcome. Do yourself a favor and stay here, avoid the resorts and all of their trappings (expensive food / expensive parking / expensive rooms), and explore every part of the island. Go local and see what real Maui has to offer. Cheers, Sami T.
