The Animals at Leilani Farm Sanctuary Will Touch Your HeartLeilani Farm Sanctuary is a non-profit facility that sits on eight picturesque acres of land. It provides shelter and care to a wide variety of animals, including goats, donkeys, pigs, cats, cows, sheep, and more. There are wide open pastures for grazing, trees for climbing, and botanical gardens to explore. You’ll also find flowering plants and fruit trees. For the creatures that call this place home, Maui’s animal farm is heaven on earth. Tours & VisitsIf you’re traveling with kids, a trip to the Farm Sanctuary is a must. The staff of volunteers works to educate the public on the humane treatment of all living beings. Because most of its residents were orphaned, neglected, or abused, guests can visit the farm for a lesson in forgiveness, courage, strength, and kindness. One of the best ways to explore the farm is by taking a tour. Explore the grounds, meet friendly farm animals, and learn about the history of the area. (You can even feed carrots to furry rabbits!)
