This is a beautifully renovated historic property. The common spaces feel like home and the outside space is an oasis very close to the center of town. The new innkeepers were very friendly and helpful when we had any questions.
So stunning. If I ever come back to Maui would definitely re book only here. Super clean, decorated very well, felt very safe as I traveled on my own & the garden and patio and sunroom cafe were such a nice unexpected bonus. Thank you
It's hard to find accommodations with any real Maui charm these days, but this is one! A luxurious experience with the feel of old Hawaii. I would choose this over the resorts any day.
Check in is seamless with lock codes sent to email and through text before we arrived. The breakfast was delicious each morning and very convenient! We stayed during a tsunami warning and the chef provided a dinner option for everyone since all the restaurants closed in the area. Definitely an added perk to staying in a small historic inn!

Wailuku is a hillside town, so there's no beach within walking distance, but you're centrally placed — Kanaha Beach is about 15 minutes toward the coast and Kihei's swimming beaches are roughly a half-hour south.
ʻĪao Valley's hiking trails and the towering ʻĪao Needle are minutes away, historic Market Street is walkable, and central Wailuku is a natural base for the drive up Haleakalā — about 1.5–2 hours to the summit — or out along the Road to Hāna.
