How to Experience the Maui Lavender FarmLearn the HistoryNestled on the slopes of Haleakala National Park, the Kula Lavender Farm is a fragrant purple paradise, unlike anything you’ve seen before. Here, visitors can admire over 55,000 lavender plants, olive trees, hydrangea flowers, and succulents. Though lavender is not native to Maui, the plant thrives in our area’s cool, dry climate and blooms year-round. Agricultural artist Ali’i Chang was given lavender in 2001 by a dear friend and used it to create a spectacular botanical garden. Today, the Maui Lavender Farm is a testament to Ali’i’s love for the land. Take a TourWith panoramic views and peaceful walking paths, the Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm is an excellent place to wander.
