Kahili Suite

Named Kāhili after the feather-laden processional staffs used by Hawaiian royalty to announce their arrival, this room is a true sanctuary. The light in this room electrifies the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It features a spacious bathroom filled with original built-ins and a vanity, perfect for travelers who require ample light and space for their amenities. This elegant room reflects the rich cultural heritage of Hawaii, providing a unique and memorable stay.

Mamane Suite

Mamane Suite

Named "Mamane" after the endemic yellow pea flower, this treasure, like its namesake, is unique to Hawaii. The room features joyful wallpaper adorned with tiny yellow gilded flowers and curated details that transport you to a place of tranquility. The highlight, however, is the breathtaking view from the far-right headboard window, offering a magical glimpse up through ʻĪao Valley. This serene retreat perfectly captures the natural beauty and charm of the island.

Every corner of this opulent room is thoughtfully adorned with exquisite art and rare treasures, seamlessly blending historic charm with modern sophistication. Pikake Suite

Pikake Suite

Named in honor of Princess Kaʻiulani's favorite flower lei, this suite is a true homage to Hawaiian royalty. The princess’s portrait graces the built-ins, which house an array of delightful curiosities. The flower lei wallpaper invites you into a serene sanctuary, while the marble bathroom, with its high ceilings and historic molding, offers a luxurious and enchanting retreat.

Mele Suite

Mele Suite

One of the most joyful rooms at the Historic Wailuku Inn. Named "Mele" which means song or poem. An abundance of detailed style awaits. This ground-floor room contains French doors that lead to a private lanai, a custom-built coffee bar, a beautiful shower, and a marble-floored bathroom.

Lehua Suite

Lehua Suite

The Mele Suite and Lehua Suite are cozy accommodations located on the ground floor. Each suite features its own lanai and private walled garden. These adjoining rooms can be combined into a larger suite by opening their connecting doors, offering flexibility and additional space for your stay.

Ilima Suite

Ilima Suite

Named after the vibrant yellow-orange flowers that grow on the property and are used for making leis, Ilima is the largest of our three ground-floor rooms in the historic inn. This luxurious suite boasts its own gazebo right outside the door, a custom coffee bar, and a bathroom adorned with marble floors and a penny tile step-in shower.

Hinano means flower blossom. This periwinkle-hued suite with its chinoiserie blooming wallpaper, antique jade carved headboard, and cozy nook seating is sure to delight.

The Ulu Suite is the epitome of contemporary elegance at the Historic Wailuku Inn. Adorned with luxurious seagrass Ulu (breadfruit) wallpaper and illuminated by hanging light fixtures inspired by traditional fishing baskets, this suite exudes modern sophistication.
