Rated Most Hawaiian Maui Bed and Breakfast

The beautiful, seven-room bed and breakfast located on Maui, the Old Wailuku Inn at Ulupono, is listed on the Hawai‘i Registry of Historic Places. Our bed and breakfast was honored two consecutive years by The Hawai‘i Visitors and Convention Bureau as the most Hawaiian accommodation in the entire State, “blending a nostalgic ambience while providing the comforts and convenience for the modern-day traveler.” 

Our Maui Bed and Breakfast Inn was ranked Number 5 on Travel + Leisure magazine’s Top Ten U.S. Bed & Breakfasts list and it received the Historic Hawai‘i Foundation’s Historic Preservation Honor Award. The following year, the Inn was the only property in Hawai‘i on Fodor’s Choice Hotels, the 2nd annual list of 20 hotels worldwide.

We added a three-room cottage to the property here in Maui. We call it Vagabond’s House. It is a more modern and equally charming addition to the property.  And so we say, "He hale kou" which is to say "You are always welcome" at our bed and breakfast here in Maui, the Old Wailuku Inn at Ulupono.
